Google Vids has revolutionized how teams collaborate on storytelling, bringing the ease of Google Workspace right into the video creation process. However, as you assemble your scenes, timelines, and transitions, you might run into a frustrating speed bump: You can’t directly rotate a video clip inside Google Vids.

While Google Vids lets you freely rotate text boxes, shapes, and static images via the Format options or Arrange > Rotate menus, video clips currently lack a native on-canvas rotation handle.
